This is on a 2018 MacBook Pro 2.7 GHz i7 with 16GB RAM. It will run for a few hours, or even a day, but eventually, usually overnight, the mac shuts down. Due to a huge number of duplicate photos, I recently deleted all my sync'd Google Photos, cleaned up my Apple Photos library and then turned sync back on. The Photos library is the only thing I'm trying to sync. I'm trying to sync my Apple Photos library with Google Photos using the Google Backup and Sync tool.
